German electricity prices push Danish electricity prices up
Despite high imports of cheap hydropower from Norway, the electricity price in Western Denmark (Jutland and Funen) followed the German electricity price upwards.

In Western Denmark, the average electricity price was DKK 0.355/kWh as opposed to DKK 0.338 in August.

Eastern Denmark (Zeeland and Bornholm) experienced stable electricity prices in September, with the average electricity price being DKK 0.36/kWh compared to DKK 0.363 in August.

In the other Scandinavian countries, the rising water levels in the water reservoirs triggered a substantial price drop, which did not affect Eastern Denmark, however, due to capacity restrictions on the Øresund Link.
