Before you dig

Before you dig near gas pipelines, you must know their position. It is important – and in some instances required - that you obtain information on the specific position of the installations whether you plan major construction work or a minor excavation.

Do not dig without a drawing
When you work near a gas pipeline you must comply with a number of technical safety regulations.

If you plan construction work near a gas pipeline, you must seek precise information on the grid. Do not dig without a layout plan!

You can get further information from us or the company mentioned on the marking posts.

Free information about our lines
If you do not have a layout plan showing precisely where our gas pipelines are positioned, feel free to contact Energinet.dk’s Pipeline Information Office.
We will be happy to send you a map showing where the gas pipelines or cables are located. If you are still in doubt, we will send a technician who will mark precisely where the gas pipelines or cables are.
