The functional contents of the messages for Edig@s XML communications are described in a message guide.

Before starting Edig@s XML communication a test of the it-system is required
Before exchanging nominations, confirmation and allocation messages using Edig@s XML shippers must carry out a complete test of the messages between Energient.dk and the shipper. When the test is completed and approved the shipper and Energinet.dk will agree on a starting date of the XML communication.

The tests are carried out between 12 Januar and 2 February 2012 on fixed dates. Reference is made to facts in the top of this page. After 2 February 2012, shippers may test their it-systems every second Thursday i.e. first testing date after 2 February will be on 16 February 2012.

Shippers may chose to exchange messages without encryption and Edig@XML with AS2 protocol encryption.

This solution is implemented for security of the messages between the shipper and Energinet.dk. If you request to use XML with AS2 encryption, please fill in the Excel-file ’With AS2 encryption’ and send it in an email to: backoffice@energinet.dk

Edig@s XML without encryption 
This way of communicating does not provide any security and Energinet.dk takes no responsibility if data becomes corrupted or otherwise defective, nor for data being captured on the internet.

To exchange Edig@as without encryption shippers must fill-in the Excel-file ’Without encryption’ and send it via email to: backoffice@energinet.dk.

It is not required for shippers to use Edig@s XML. The existing SMTP-'protocol' will stay open, but no AS2 security will be implemented for this.
