Action is required
No matter whether he is at the office, on a hunting expedition or in the board room, one thing is important to Søren Dupont Kristensen. He wants action.

- It is a really good day when progress is being made. That the things that I'm involved in progress. I couldn't thrive in a routine job where today is like yesterday. That's not me at all, says Søren.

This is the reason why Søren is involved in many activities - both in his personal life and at work. He is, for example, one of the employee-elected representatives in Energinet.dk's Supervisory Board and is currently working as a project manager on Energinet.dk's internal strategy project. In addition, he provides support to Energinet.dk's Executive Board, turning his hands to various small- and large-scale tasks.

- My working day is very varied, and I feel good about being where the stratetic decisions are being taken. It is important to me that my work matters. That the projects that I help to launch yield results, says Søren.

Søren has been employed in the energy sector since 2003, and he believes that there are not many enterprises that can offer him a job which is similar to the one he has today at Energinet.dk and which provides so much potential for development. In 2007-2008, Søren completed Energinet.dk's internal programme for potential management talents.

- I think that my function is quite unique within the energy sector, and I feel good about being a part of an enterprise that is centrally placed in the industry. It is a very exciting and important area that is developing rapidly, he concludes.
